Camping

Camping is available on Goose Green (camping field) for full sailing club members. Rear Commodore House and Grounds will open and close the camping season subject to ground and weather conditions. 

Cost

Members are encouraged to book season camping passes. The cost for the season is £35.00 per tent/caravan, campervan or pod (not per person) payable via your membership portal. Please note, this pass covers you for the cost of overnight camping throughout the season. It is valid from the time of purchase until the end of the membership year when it was paid for.

A day/night pass costs £5.00 per tent/caravan, campervan or pod (not per person) and is payable on the portal per night.

Should full members wish to invite guests they can do so and pay for them inline with current visitor policies and directions. 

Maximum stay

The Executive have authorised a maximum of seven consecutive nights camping. Should members wish to extend this duration they are required to apply through Rear Commodore House and Grounds. 

Facilities

The electric hookups are turned on and off inside the training barn. They cannot be booked and are shared amongst campers.

There is a toilet accessible from the camping field side of the barn. The code can be requested from Rear Commodore House and Grounds. Members are responsible for cleaning the facilities - please replenish stock of ancillaries from the club house.

Members are required to remove all rubbish, isolate any hook ups that have been in use (turn on and off within the barn) and leave the facilities as they would like to find them.

Dog owners, please respect normal club etiquette and clean up after your dogs straight away.

PLEASE NOTE - no chemical camping loos to be emptied into any WSC club toilets. Doing so will damage our off-grid sewage facility.
