Fancy a week of camping, sailing and instruction at beautiful Whitefriars SC this summer?

Maybe spend the day learning new skills, the evening chatting with friends by the barbecue with a glass of wine? Or sign the kids up to Adventure Week, where they will have a fantastic time with their friends?

If you can’t stay over, you are still very welcome to take part in our daytime activities.

 

Adult Training

We will be running RYA two day sailing courses throughout Sail Training week – details can be found here  – from Beginners (RYA Level 1) through to the more advanced Better Sailing (RYA Level 3).

On the Wednesday 31st July we will run a consolidation or skills-improver day particularly for those who wish to take two courses (e.g. Level 1 and Level 2).

Adventure Week

Monday 29 July - Friday 2 August 2024

Fun, games and sailing on, in and around our wonderful lake, lead by fully qualified young Instructors. A great chance for our younger members (ages 7 to 16) to let off steam after a difficult year at school and to use their hard earned sailing skills.

Parents, you can even leave children age 10 and over in the charge of our Instructing group if you cannot stay on site.

Bookable on SCM at £30 per day, including use of club boats and equipment. Maximum 30 people per day.

 

Saturdays at Whitefriars

Saturday 3rd / 10th August, open to all ages.
Get out on the water with our instructor led 10am and 1pm sessions. £10 fee includes use of club boats.
